George Wesley Rose was the son of Isaac Rose & Rachel Kincaid Elliott.
He married the former Miss Amanda Krummelbein on 23 Dec 1923.
Mr. Rose was a member of the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge 151 AF & AM in Bunker Hill. He retired from Olin Corporation and had lived in the Bunker Hill area 48 years.
Survivors included two daughters, Mrs. Melvin (Eileen) Lawrence of Bunker Hill, Illinois and Mrs. Ernest (Alice) Belisle of New Bloomfield, Missouri; and a half-sister, Mrs. Isabel Renken of Florida state.
