Jellen T. "JT" Bullard, 69, of Lorain, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012 at Mercy Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He was born March 3, 1943 in Dublin, Ga. and lived in the Lorain area since 1965.
"JT" was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Lorain where he served as a Trustee of the church. He also worked as a carpenter since 1968 and was a member of the Carpenter Union. His favorite pastimes included building, woodworking, and old cars.
He will be sadly missed by his two sons, Jefferey Stanley, of Dublin, Ga. and Darius (Teela) Bullard, of Lorain; two daughters, Angela Donald, of Lorain and Tiffany Bullard, of Columbus, Ohio; his companion, Eunice Burt, of Lorain; a sister, Gennie Smith (Bullard), of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
"JT" was preceded in death by his parents, Elec and Lincie (nee Howard) Bullard; brothers, Aaron Bullard, Elec "Junior" Bullard; sisters, Mattie Robinson (Bullard), Essie Grubb (Bullard), Ann Bullard and Carolyn Bullard.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012 from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 3900 Clifton Ave., Lorain OH 44055. Pastor Peter Tower is officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
