Edward P. Buttram, 89, Springfield, died at 12:50 p.m. Friday in Mount Vernon Park Care Center after a long illness.
Mr. Buttram was a retired Church of Christ minister. He was a member of Kansas Expressway Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Lula; five daughters, Mrs. Fay Wilson, Mrs. Virginia Jones, Mrs. Wanda Sell, Mrs. Naomi Payne, and Mrs. Marilyn Allen; three sisters, Mrs. Opal Lawing, Mrs. Fern Meltabarger, and Mrs. Lovie Rookstool; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
