William Eli Rice - Funeral services for Mr. Rice, retired marine engineer and a resident of the New Virginia Hotel, whose death occurred Wednesday morning at 5:22 o'clock, will be conducted at the Cox Funeral Home, 631 Westover avenue, this morning at 11 o'clock. The Rev. B.M. Persinger, pastor of Epworth Methodist Church, will officiate, Interment will be in the family plot in Magnolia Cemetery. Mr. Rice was a native and lifelong resident of Virginia and was a marine engineer for 30 years, retiring about 25 years ago.
He is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Mabel Simon and Mrs. Gladys Beehler, of Baltimore, and two nephews, Claude Dritt, of Atlanta, Ga., and David Dritt, of Baltimore.
