Charlotte White passed away Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, in Neshaminy Manor, Warrington. She was the wife of the late Louis White who predeceased her in 1968. Charlotte was born Dec. 14, 1918, in Manhattan, N.Y., a daughter of the late Otto and Caroline (Grigo) Tosch.
She was sister to the late Harry Tosch; aunt to Carol Ann, Linda, Rosemarie and the late Jane Tosch. She was Mom to children, Eugene (Deb), Carolyn Litzenberger (Wayne), the late Bernice Pierson, son-in-law Tim Pierson and Richard (Connie). She was Gram to her grandchildren, Carrie Winters (Rob), David Litzenberger (Tara), Tara Wroble (Nate), Allison Christman (Jon), Sarah Schauder (Ryan), Meghan Pierson (Chris Dillon), Abigail Pierson (beau Kole Bromall), Tammy Muth, and step grandson Tim Litzenberger (Michelle). She was Grammy to her great grandchildren, Austin and Logan Winters, Isabella Schauder, Elizabeth Christman and step great grandchildren Crystal Biemuller (Fred), Elizabeth Litzenberger and Jessica Litzenberger. She was Aunt Lottie to the Pflug, Keane, Sarno, Gruver and Becker families. She was Aunt Charlotte to the Lutz, Leichliter, Werkheiser, and Rielly families. She was Charlotte to her many friends and neighbors, especially the Winters, Fleck, Anderson, Mattes, Buzdygon, Pfeifer, Mills, deGroot and Serratore families. She was Mrs. White to friends and families, especially the Derstine, Atkins, Stewart, Schaible, Litzenberger, Leidtke and Odle families.
Her passions were painting, music, crocheting, and crafts. She especially cherished her time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by grandson, Richard L. White.
A graveside service officiated by the Rev. William Rex will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, at the Nockamixon Union Cemetery, Church Hill Rd., Ferndale, (near St. Luke's Lutheran Church).
