The death of the wife of Geo. D. B. Hall, which occurred Saturday evening, was not unexpected, as for some time past it has been recognized as impossible for her life to be but briefly prolonged. She has been a sufferer for a long time, and looked forward to death as the only healer. She has patiently borne her sufferings, and when the time came passed away with perfect calm. She was married in 1870, and has lived here ever since. Her age was nearly 37 years. She was a member of the M. E. church of this place, and was much loved and respected. The funeral took place at the house this afternoon at two o'clock; Rev. Mr. Graham of the M. E. church and Rev. Mi. Wheeler of the First Baptist officiating. The pall-bearers were T. F. Giddings, W. M. Woodard, M. J. and Geo. W. Bigelow, Chas. White and Stephen White. Kalamazoo Daily Telegraph March 28, 1881 page 4
