Tommy Lee Riggs passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at his residence in Caruthersville at the age of 37 years, 5 months and 20 days.
Tommy was born April 27, 1975 in Maryland Heights, Mo. to James David Riggs, Sr. and Geraldine Church Riggs. He attended school in Caruthersville and was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Tommy is survived by his mother, Geraldine Riggs of Caruthersville, two sisters, Tammy Lynn Hurst and Laura Ann Defort, a brother, James David Riggs, two nieces, Cheyenne Hurst and Jennifer Crone, a nephew, Justin Crone and numerous other relatives and friends.
Preceding Tommy in death was his father, James David Riggs, Sr. and a brother, Jerry Wayne Riggs.
Pallbearers were Ryan Hopgood, Michael Horner, David Horner, Russell Horner, Jr., Steven D. Thrasher and James Fields.
Visitation was Sunday, October 21 in the Chapel at H.S. Smith Funeral Home in Caruthersville. Funeral services were held immediately following the visitation with Br. Joe Frank Church officiating. Interment was in Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville.
