WILLIS ROY HOLMAN, STATE EMPLOYE, DIES; FUNERAL HERE
Willis Roy Holman, 66, employed for 16 years in the state department of revenue, died at 11:15 o'clock yesterday morning at Jefferson City. He had been in failing health for several years and had been critically ill for 24 hours.
Born near Mr. Carmel, he spent mosst of his life in Randolph and Macon counties. He was a retired farmer.
He was a member of the Jefferson City First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; a son, O. K. Holman of Houston, Tex., two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Stodgell fo Huntsville and Mrs. E. H. Ragsdale of Stockton, Calif.; and five brothers, S. A. Holman of Keytesville, Leonard Holman of Callao, Wendell Holman of Albuquerque, N. M., and O. F. and M. U. Holman, both of Moberly.
The body is at the Snow Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Dr. Joseph P. Grant, pastor of the Moberly First Baptist Church, will be in charge, and burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
