Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Mary Catherine Cosaert, passed away Friday, September 7th, 2012, at the age of eighty-eight years and three days, at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri where she had resided since January, 2010.
.
Mary was born September 4, 1924, on her sister, Edna's 18th birthday, in Corning. IA, to John L. Mahr & Mable Cochrane Mahr. Mary was proud that she was raised and lived where the Rosary Hospital now stands. Mary lived in Adams County for 84 years, until May, 2008, when she moved to Crest Ridge Estates Independent Living in Creston, IA to be close to the kidney dialysis center there.
.
She grew up attending the Methodist Church. Mary was active in 4-H Quincy Lassies and served 1 year as President of the Adams County 4H Club. Mary treasured her family and friends and enjoyed membership in the American Legion Auxiliary, HOA Club, NFU Club and Windyville Neighbors Club. She blessed many by sharing her beautifully crocheted doilies and afghans, that kept her busy in her retirement.
