William Thomas Gray, Deputy Chief, Bossier City Police Department

Funeral services for Assistant Chief William Thomas Gray will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Hill Crest Chapel with Rev. Bill Lott, pastor, Ivan Baptist Church officiating. Interment will full police honors and Masonic Rites will be in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Friday at Hill Crest Funeral Home.

Chief Gray was born September 22, 1936 in Ruston, LA to parents Nealie (Monk) and James Parker Gray and passed away at his home in Haughton February 22, 2011.

He was retired as Assistant Chief of Police in Bossier City. Chief Gray was a 32nd Mason, member of El Karubah Shrine, and the Martin-McClanhan Masonic Lodge.

Chief Gray was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Ricky Gray. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-five years,Trudy Gray of Haughton, daughter, Donna Murphy and husband Jeff of Shreveport, one granddaughter and two great grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends.

Pall Bearers will be Shannon Hodges, Scotty Hodges, Gary Moore, Dan Bates, Danny Coleman, Larry Coleman, and Wayne Gray. The complete biography may be viewed at www.hillcrestmemorialfh.com
