Daughter of William and Margaret (Freeman) Brown.

Miss Grace Brown Succumbed to Heart Failure This Morning.
Miss Grace Brown, youngest daughter of W. W. Brown, 330 South Franklin street, died at 10 o'clock this morning of heart trouble at the age of 23 years.
Miss Brown was a graduate of the Wilkes-Barre High School, from where she went to New York City to study to fit herself for a position as trained nurse. Last winter her health failed, but she would not give up until she had earned the much desired diploma.
About three weeks ago she graduated in high standing, and had every opportunity for a bright professional career, when she was stricken with heart disease, caused by overwork and overstudy in the hospital. She was brought home to this city by a physician and two nurses, but no hopes for her recovery were entertained.
Miss Brown was extremely kind, generous, hospitable and charitable, and her demise is deeply mourned by hosts of friends in this city and every other city she ever visited. Dr. Clive Smith attended her after her sad homecoming. She is survived by her father and mother, one brother, Arthur, of the Hazard Wire Rope Works, and two sister, Gertrude and Florence, at home.
