Frank Slocum, well and favorably known on the West side, died at his home on Union street, Dorranceton, at 11 o'clock this morning, of heart failure, from which he had been a sufferer for several months past. He was 22 years of age and conducted a barber shop on Dorrance street. He was a regular attendant at the Luzerne Presbyterian Church. Besides his father, Mr. Oliver Slocum, he is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Oliver, Jr., Ernest, Anna, Clarence and Mary.
The funeral will take place on Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Services will be conducted at the house by Rev. Day, pastor of the Luzerne Presbyterian Church and interment will be made in Forty Fort cemetery.
