The former Georgia Mae Meadwell, she had been a resident of Rock for the past six years. Born March 11, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Charles and Hattie Jones Meadwell.
Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Mrs. James Nichols of Wolfe, Mrs. Robert Zabanzsky and Judy Farley of Cleveland, Oh., Mrs. Darrell Perkins of Montcalm, and Mrs. Billy Cook of McComas; two sons, Charles B. Farley, Jr. of Fayetteville, N.C. and Roy Lee Farley of McComas; one sister, Mrs. Bernice Huffman of Cleveland; four brothers, Robert and Charles Meadwell of Wilmington, De., Donnie and Raben Meadwell of Cleveland; one foster daughter, Connie Meadwell of Bluefield, and 18 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Dewey Lacy officiating.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery at Bluewell.
Friends may call at the funeral home between 5 and 10 p.m. Thursday.
