Mrs. Snodgrass, a longtime resident of the Orland area, had been at the rest home since March 1952. Born March 15, 1874, in Missouri, Mrs. Snodgrass came to Washington in a covered wagon when she was seven years of age.
Her husband, E. Sherman Snodgrass, died here several years ago. She leaves three sons, Murry, of Berkeley; Floyd of Connecticut; and Vernon, of Orland; a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Lowden, of San Lorenzo; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Rickstraw, of Fortuna; and Mrs. Matilda Stenson, of Spokane, Wash.; ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
