Cynthia G. Burch, 51, of Hamilton Twp., died on Thursday at home. She was the wife of Mark E. Burch.
Born in Albany, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Adelbert L. Unser, Sr., and Mildred (Warner) Unser of Stroudsburg. She was a resident of Monroe County since 1967.
She was employed by PA Department of Transportation in the parts department in Stroudsburg for the past 11 years, retiring in December 1997 due to illness. Prior to working at Penn DOT, she worked at Pocono Medical Center as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 4 years.
She was a graduate of Albany, N.Y., Nursing School with her LPN in 1967. She was a member of the George N. Kemp American Legion Post 346 Auxiliary in East Stroudsburg and a member of the Trinity Fellowship Church in Stroudsburg.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a brother, Adelbert L. Unser, Jr., of Whitinsville, MA and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Eugene Unser.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg, with Rev. William Sibley officiating.
There will be a viewing on Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home.
Committal will take place in Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg
