Cookeville, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, April 18,
2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in
Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in
the New Hope community of Jackson County, TN.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 A.M. until
time of services.
She passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at her
residence.
She was born August 27, 1938, in Clay County, TN, to the
late Bert Lynn and Mary Ella Stacy Lynn. On April 25, 1958,
she was married to the late Floyd Allen, who passed away
December 11, 1966. She was a homemaker, and affiliated with
the Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded
in death by 1 Son: Terry Allen; 1 Brother: Jimmy Odie Lynn;
and 3 Sisters: Willie E. Stacy, Evia Wilson, and Daffo Fletcher.
Survivors include 2 Sons: Michael (Barbara) Allen and Jack
(Tammy) Allen, all of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Debbie Allen
of Cookeville, TN; 1 Brother: Joe Truman (Cindy) Lynn of
Bremen, IN; 2 Sisters: Dimple Wills of Lapel, IN, and Ruby
(Johnny) Barnes of Paragon, IN; and several grandchildren and
great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives,
and friends also survive.
Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
