according to family, John and 2nd wife Elizabeth are "buried on Dunkelberger family farm, near some pine woods, 50 ft from public road."

his marble tombstone reads:

son George owned farm after the passing of his parents-

John came to America as a widower with 2 small sons.

John was credited for making the first grist/sawmill in the Mahanoy Creek area. It remains to this day it is said.
He also made the first stone house dwelling using larger stones which has kept it pretty decent condition several hundred years later-
