Muster Rolls: Present: July to Oct. 1861. Absent: Nov. & Dec. 1861. Remarks: Sent to Hospital Dec. 16, 1861. Return to camp Jan. 27, 1862. June 27, 1862 Gun Shot Wound. Flesh wound of Arm and Knee. From Battle of Gain's Mill. Arm Amputated in field sloughing stump. Died Aug. 3, 1862 from Typhoid fever.
