James Harvey Hartman, sixty, of 1426 East Gibson street, died at 7 o'clock last night in his home after five years illness. He was born at Shickshinny, and had lived in this city for forty-five years, and was prominent in musical circles. Prior to his illness, he was tenor soloist at the Myrtle Street Methodist Church. Mr. Hartman had been employed as supervisor of cabinet work at the Keyser Valley shops of the delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad Company before his illness. He was a member of Dunmore Council, Jr. O. U A. M., and Hyde Park Lodge, F. & A. M.

Besides his wife, Laura, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Charles Bolles, this city; a brother, Harry G. Hartman, of Moscow, a member of the Hartman Electric Company. Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the home. Interment, Dunmore cemetery.
