James Monroe Wilson
(January 21, 1920 - October 31, 2012)

James Monroe Wilson, age 92, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. T. and Mollie Wilson; brother, William Allen Wilson; and grandson, Jeffery Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Agnes Wilson; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and William Walkingstick; sons and daughters-in-law, Vernon and Donna Wilson and Charles and Judy Wilson; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Maxine Wilson, Jean Hearon, and Gnez Kerr; brother, J. L. Thomas Wilson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Friday, November 2, 2012, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the funeral home would be greatly appreciated. Family and friends will gather 11:00 AM Saturday at Centenary Cemetery for the interment.
