William E. (Bill) Hunt, age 49 of Mottville, MI , passed away Saturday, October 29th, 2011 at his home following a battle with cancer. Bill was born in Mishawaka, IN on August 6, 1962, a son of Thomas and Joyce (Giszewski) Hunt. He graduated from Jimtown High School. On January 17, 1997 he married Amy Jo Penninger in Elkhart. Bill worked as a store manager at Eagle Ready Mix in Goshen for 18 years and was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Constantine. He was a former member of Boy Scout Troop #410 Constantine serving as Cub master. Bill enjoyed dirt biking, camping and being outdoors. Mostly Bill was a devoted and loving husband and father who cherished his children.
Surviving are his father Thomas (Beverly) Hunt, Middlebury, wife Amy Jo Hunt, daughter Codi Lenae Hunt, son Tanner Thomas Hunt all of Mottville, son Derek William Hunt of White Pigeon, sister Karen (Richard) Jones of White Pigeon, brother Timothy (Lynette) Hunt of Middlebury, mother in law Pam Penninger, Union, brother in law John Penninger Jr. Union, brother in law Robert Penninger, Afghanistan. He was preceded in death by his mother Joyce Hunt and father in law, John Penninger Sr.

Relatives and friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Religious Services will be held at the Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 2nd, with Pastor Marilyn Schlimgen officiating. Interment will be in the Mottville Township Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Three Rivers Hospice or First Congregational United Church of Christ.

MOTTVILLE, Mich — William E. (Bill) Hunt, 49, died Saturday at his home following a battle with cancer.

He was married to Amy Jo Penninger on Jan. 17, 1997, in Elkhart. She survives

In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Codi Lenae Hunt, Mottville; two sons, Tanner Thomas Hunt, Mottville, and Derek William Hunt, White Pigeon; and his father, Thomas (Beverly) Hunt, Middlebury, Ind.

Friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Eley Funeral Home, Constantine. Services are set at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Mottville Township Cemetery.
