Betty Nina Baxter, 86, of Bandera, passed away on October 15, 2012 at a local facility. She was born in Hilton, New York to Fred and Rose Hunn Guyette.

She was a member of the Lakehills United Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxillary of the American Legion. She volunteered for numerous organizations including the Senior Center.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Frank Warner Lape and Raymond Baxter, her sons, Frank, Charles, Warner and David Lape, three sisters, two brothers and a stepbrother.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Valerie Stote of Honeoye, New York and Donna Lee Collins and husband Charles of Rochester, New York; her sons, Keith W. Lape, Timothy J. Lape and Steven R. Lape of Rochester, New York; thirteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 22, 12 Noon, at Lakehills United Methodist Church. Burial will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio
