it is likely that Sarah married after 1900 although there is no Marriage record found...."Wesley Donnell " lived in Portage la Prarie Manitoba in the 1901 census as a single person.......the name Donnell as "Sarah Donnel" is etched on the family tombstone at Mt Tagert Cemetery, if she married a Donnell she changed her name back to "Cowan".....The 1911census finds her living with her mother & sister in Cookstown as "Sarah Cowan"....She died on 21 Dec 1912.. death certificate found with name of "Sarah Donald" ( Not unususl to find these types of errors in the records) ,it indicates she was a widow....., there is a spelling error on her death registration,...There is a death of a "Peter James Wesley Donnell" who died 23 Jan 1911 age 38 in Cookstown who is likely her husband....... her d/cert. as "Sarah Donald" indicates she was a widow and parents are James & Margaret Cowan..Hugh I Cowan Great grandson of James & Margaret
