Preceded in death by: Parents, Oard & Levi Coffey; Brothers, Coolidge & Gobel Coffey. Survivors include: Husband of 57 years, Rev. James W. Hopper; Daughter and Son-in-law, Lynda & Ted Simerly of Maryville; Granddaughter Julie Garner & children Elisabeth & Madialynne Cupp; Grandson, Max Simerly & wife, Karen and children Dustin & Rachel Simerly. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 11, 2001 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Danny Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 100 S. Rankin Road, Alcoa, TN 37701 or the Lupus Foundation, Knoxville Chapter.
