Trinie Gallegos Chacón went on to her final journey with our Lord and to be with all her loved ones on May 28, 2010.
Trinie was born on October 16, 1919.
Trinie was a proud and life long resident of the Barela's Community.
Trinie was a faithful and devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Trinie attended her beloved Church up until her passing. Trinie enjoyed cruising after mass to get supper for her and her son, Calistro.
As faithful as she was to Scared Heart, she was also faithful to her favorite bingo hall. Nothing would light up her eyes like when one of her grandchildren would walk through her front door and say "Hi my Nana"! Trinie retired from Sun Bell of Albuquerque, Jewelry Company. We will miss her saying on Sundays "How 'bout them Cowboys?" Your beautiful green eyes will forever be remembered.
"Rest easy Trinie."
Trinie is survived by her sons, Kelly Chacón and Wilfred Chacón, daughter, Shirley Lovato and her husband, Rueben Lovato, brother, Polo Gallegos, sisters, Helen Gurulé and Josie Arellano, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Trinie was preceded in death by her husband, George Chacón, son, Henry Chacón, granddaughter, Pamela Pacheco and grandson, Victor Chacón.
A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 412 Stover SW. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 412 Stover SW. Internment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Chacón, Steven Chacón Sr., Mark Pacheco Sr., John Chávez, Vincent Chacón and Lisa Anaya. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Pacheco Jr., Richard Chacón and José Pacheco.
