John A. Lee born Jan. 24, 1867 in Tyldalen, Norway, died Nov. 28 at the home of his sister, Lewis Hanson, where he made his home for the last 13 years. Mr. Lee immigrated when he was 17 years old. He worked for the Knapp, Stout and Company while they were operating the saw mill in Downsville. Mr. Lee was married to Mrs. Charlotte Smith May 7 1905. Mrs. Lee died 13 years ago. He leaves to mourn his loss a sister, Mrs. Lewis [nee Ragnhild Lee] Hanson, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. G. Giving at the Olson Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 1 at 1:30 p.m. and 2 o'clock at the Downsville church. Burial will be made in the Riverview cemetery.
