Mrs. Andrews was born in Columbia, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Samantha Moore Chapman. She was a homemaker and a member of Cades United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters. Loan (Steve) Godwin of Lake City and Carolyn Carter of Columbia, two grandsons, Dr. Steven Andrew "Andy" Godwin of Jacksonville, Fla., and Lawrence Drew Godwin of Lake City, six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at Cades United Methodist Church. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Elmwood Cemetery in Columbia.
The family will have visitation from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Brockington Funeral Home, Lake City, is in charge.
