Bobby Wayne Hancock, 62, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Friday, October 12, 2012. He had lived in the Chattanooga, TN and North Georgia areas for most of his life and was of the Baptist faith. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and had worked in the Construction Industry for many years.


He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Hancock, and his mother, Jessie Mae Cox.


Survivors include his loving companion, Melvina Bradley; children, Nancy Carlton, Carlene Worley and Floyd, Jamey, Danny, Michael and Roger Bradley, all of Chickamauga, GA; two brothers, James "Mickey" Hancock, of Rock Spring, GA, and Ray Hancock of Trion, GA; sister, Betty Langston, of Chattanooga, TN; numerous grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.


Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2012 in the United Memorial Gardens in Dalton, GA.


There will be no visitation at the funeral home.


Arrangements by W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes, Fort Oglethorpe, GA.
