Death Record
Mason H. Barney, 72, former resident of Syracuse, died Thursday at his home, 174 West Manlius Street, East Syracuse. Mr. Barney was custodian of the Bank of East Syracuse and resident of that village 17 years. He was a member of Salina Lodge 955, F. and A. M., and a past patron of Fralick Chapter, O. E. S. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John W. Brown, Jr., of Syracuse, two sons, Mason A. and D. Almon Barney, both of Syracuse, and five grandchildren. Services will be conducted at the Cornell, Clement & Greenleaf, Inc. funeral home Saturday at 2 P.M. by the Rev. Dr. Edward L. Keller. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery, where Masonic rites will be held.
