This is Karen Tofte, the 2nd wife of Peter Boesen. She was born in Ringebu Parish, Oppland, Norway, at the Tofte farm.
Her father was Thore Iversen Tofte, b. 1829 in Ringebu, died 1899 in Belle River Twp., Douglas County, MN.

Karen had two daughters when she married Peter Boesen, Selma and Maria Tofte. On the census of 1900, they have a son together also.

On the 1865 census in Ringebu, Oppland, Norway with her parents and some of the siblings. Another sister was born later, for sure, named Oline Thorsdatter Tofte, who also was in Douglas County, Minnesota.
