Virginia Louise (Weems) Brandt, 80, of La Grange, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2012 at Monument Hill Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in La Grange.
Virginia was born in Konawa, Oklahoma on May 21, 1932, the daughter of the late Dalton Ernest and Nancy Lila Louise (Long) Weems. She married Hubert Arthur Brandt on September 12, 1949.
Virginia and her husband ran the family dairy business. She worked at Marian's Apparel and Fashion Dress Shop for many years and was also a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Hubert, of 62 years; three daughters: Beth Brown and husband, Mark, of La Grange, Susan Madison and husband, Randy, of Matagorda, and Lisa Primrose and husband, Chuck, of College Station; son, Brad Brandt and Leinda Parson, of Shawnee, Oklahoma; brother, Boyd Weems and wife, Jeanette, of La Grange; grandchildren: Stacey and Danny Olenick, Brandy Madison, Rodney Brown, Missy Rusek and husband, Mike, Cody Brandt and Monica Cloud, Amanda and Josh Weber, Jennifer and Jerimiah Campo, Will , John and Kate Primrose; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dalton and Louise Weems.
