She was the daughter of Sanford & Emma Linn who moved to Oklahoma Territory from Joplin MO with their daughters, Hazel & Gracie. Sanford farmed land which is now under Canton Reservoir.
Hazel married W. E. Allsman and had a stillborn daughter before raising 3 sons (b. 1927, 1931, & 1935) to honorable manhood.
Raised a Mennonite, she became a Methodist then a Nazarene in adult life. She played the piano for her church, loved to sing, was a fantastic seamstress and a wonderful cook. She liked to sneak this grandson out of bed at night to have ice cream.
She has 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is fondly remembered.
