Her obit stated that her middle name was, "Nevada" and that she married William in Wilson, Oklahoma, on 01 May 1891.

Surviving children were four sons:

"The passing from earth to heaven, of the gentle spirit of Mrs. W. C. Bailey...was like the closing of a flower, like the whisper of an angel, so quietly and peaceful was the end of her life. Suffering untold has (sic, had) been hers for many, many months... "

Her funeral service was conducted by her pastor, Dr. John A. Held of the First Baptist Church, at the home of her son Vernon. Interment followed in the city cemetery.
