Her middle initial is spelled out "Vivian" in a biography on the family by Mary Cowan. Lillian V. Smith was the daughter of Robert W. and Dorothy Ann Graves Smith. She married Rev. Jerome L. Hunter Nov 13, 1873 in Benton Co.
Lillian and Jerome are buried in Grand Junction Cemetery, TN, as is her mother Dorothy. Her father Robert was buried in Benton County, Mississippi, near his home only a few miles away, killed during the Civil War. I will list the rest of her children later. Two are linked below.

The Bolivar Bulletin, Aug. 19, 1927, page 2:
" -- A lovely Christian character, a gentle and noble woman passed to her reward at Grand Junction on August 9th [8th, per a biography & her gravestone], when Mrs. Hunter answered the final summon. The end came suddenly and was a great shock to the family and friends. Mrs. Hunter was 75 years of age, was born in Benton County, Miss., and was the widow of the late Rev. J. L. Hunter, of revered memory. During her husband's pastorate of the Methodist church here, she was a resident of our city and by her many virtues greatly endeared herself to our people. Surviving are three children -- Mrs. M. Wilson, Middleton; R. E. Hunter, Grand Junction; Mrs. [C.] P. Seabrook, Memphis. The remains were interred in Grand Junction cemetery."
