She and John had fourteen children, seven sons and seven daughters, 10 of whom survive. They are: Wm. F. of Tobias, Neb. Hiram S. of Fairfield, Elizabeth Eshelman of Lockridge, Irven F. of Chicago, Caroline Lynn of Pleasant Plain, Mary Vogel of Corrizo Co, Agnes Coop of Denison, Iowa; Stephen A. of Pleasant Plain, Hugh J. of Monmouth, Ill.
Aurelia and John moved from Pennsylvania to Iowa in 1850 and located on a farm near Brighton. John Augustus was a farmer by occupation. in about 1862 they moved to Pleasant Plain Iowa. John died in 1896. When Aurelia passed away she was laid to rest beside husband in Friends cemetery at Pleasant Plain.
