Scott Andrew Chizzo, 53, of Sudbury peacefully passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Emerson Hospital following a battle with renal cell carcinoma. He was the husband of Rebecca (Blanton) Chizzo and the father of Olivia Christine Chizzo. Born in Chicago, IL, he is the son of Charles and Carol (Neisner) Chizzo of Evergreen CO. Mr. Chizzo was the president and CEO of his company, Maxiom Consulting Group in Waltham and had been a resident of Sudbury for the past 20 years. Scott earned a bachelor degree in aerospace engineering at the University of Illinois and MBA from UCLA School of Business Management. He was an avid golfer and member of Charter Oak County Club. He participated and won local billiard competitions of the USA Pool League. He was an experienced astronomy buff and he helped with events for scouts, students, and home school groups. He and his family are members of Memorial Congregational Church in Sudbury. A fund will be established for renal cell cancer research, earlier detection and support for patients and families. In addition to his wife and daughter, he leaves his brothers; Paul Chizzo and his wife, Sonia, of CO, David Chizzo and his wife, Tania, of IL; his sisters, Peggy Burroughs and her husband, Robert, of CO, Laura Arnoldussen and her husband, Pat, of CO and his sister Kathryn Chizzo, also of CO. He also leaves 4 nieces, 1 great niece, and 4 nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 22, at 10:30 am at Memorial Congregational Church, 26 Concord Road, Sudbury. Interment will be in New Town Cemetery, Sudbury. Visitation will be held Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Duckett-J. S.
