Navy Adds To Official List of War Casualties

Washington, May 22 - The navy announced today 11 casualties including 8 dead, 1 wounded and 2 missing. In addition, 2 men previously listed as missing and 1 as wounded, now are reported dead.
This brings to 24,025 the total of navy, marine corps and coast guard casualties reported to next of kin since December 7, 1941. The grand total included 7,272 dead, 4,698 wounded and 12,055 missing.
The casualties announced today (those listed are navy and non-commissioned personnel unless otherwise specified.):
Colorado
Patterson, Archie C. Jr., marine, Dead (reported wounded March 2). Mother, Mrs. Irene Patterson, Denver.
