Thomas F. Cassidy is the son of Thomas Cassidy and Ann McBride. He was born on October 1855 South Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Some History on Thomas F. Cassidy's parents Thomas Cassidy and Ann McBride Cassidy Tiernan. Both of parents were born in Ireland, and later moved to Lanark, Scotland for work in the coal mines. I have not establish where in Ireland they where born. Both parents died in Scotland, and are buried there. Ann Cassidy remarried to James Tiernan also born in Ireland.

Thomas F. Cassidy married Bridget C. Murphy in Rutherglen, Lanarkshire County, Scotland on 11-30-1871. In July 1875 Tom Bridget, travel with their two young sons Thomas M and Felix on the U.S.S. Utopia to New York, and settled in Plymouth township & Larksville, PA. Thomas occupation is a coal miner, when he passes away in 1925, it is in the coal mine he worked at. They have ten children- six daughters and four sons. Tom was well known as a musician with St. Vincent DePaul Church, Plymouth, PA. Tom and Bridget belong to the W.C.A.U. a temperance group within the Catholic church for many years. By 1925 Thomas is age 70 and still working in the mine, after eating his lunch Thomas has a heart attack and is found dead at the Loree No.#3 in Larksville. His wife Bridget dies on 4-17-1930, at her daughter Theresa Jones house in Collingsdale, Delaware County, PA., and is buried next to her husband. There is no tombstone on the grave.
