Edna Virginia Mountjoy, 92 of Dumfries, Va. passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday, April 20.
Mrs. Mountjoy was born on May 14, 1917 in Stafford Va. to William and Gertrude Sullivan Tolson.
Mrs. Mountjoy was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church, in Triangle, VA.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Jessie W. Mountjoy.
Survivors include two sons; Willard L. Mountjoy and wife Betty of Triangle and Raymond Mountjoy and wife Sherrill of Triangle.
Two granddaughters; Amy Galyen and husband Chad, Laurie Jarman and husband Steve, and two grandsons Lee Mountjoy and wife Candy and Rocky Mountjoy and wife Jessie.
Eight great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday April 22 from 6-8pm at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service Stafford Chapel 186 Shelton Shop Rd. where services will be conducted at 1pm on Friday, with the Reverend Clifford Burroughs officiating. Interment will follow at
Stafford Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Mary Washington Hospice 5017 South Pointe Parkway Fredericksburg, VA. 22407
