Lella Leora Everett Adkisson Clark was stabbed to death by her husband, Jess Clark. According to her Death Certificate she was buried in the Harriman Cemetery in an Unmarked Grave. D'Armond-Asher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. She has two small daughters buried here. They are also in unmarked graves. Their names: Weetia Geneva Adkisson b:1923 d:1928, & Margaret Jeraldine Clark b:1926 d:1927. She also had a young daughter, Evelyn Louise Clark b:1931 d:1934, who died and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Chattanooga.
Mrs. Clark was survived by her son, Eugene; three sisters, Mrs. Winnie Delozier, Emory Gap; Mrs. Gertie Newcomb, Harriman and Mrs. Guy Chandler, of Erwin; five brothers, Roscoe, Loy, Critt and Archie, all of Harriman, and Carl Everett of Milwaukee.
