Charlene was born June 28, 1941 in Decatur County. She was the daughter of Ernest and Frances (Veerkamp) Binder. She had worked at Elco Textron and was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Greensburg.
Survivors include sons, Stephen Binder of Greensburg, John Bockover of Buena Vista, William Bockover of Rushville, Stanley Bockover of New Salem and Darrell Bockover of Westport; daughters, Nancy, Karen and Kathy Bockover, all of Greensburg; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris Schoolcraft of Florida City, Fla.; and a brother, John Binder of Crawfordsville.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Burns Funeral Home, Milroy with Rev. Thor Borgen officiating. Burial in Fisher Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials are requested to the Hospice of South-Central Indiana.
