Edna Smith Dielmann, born December 21, 1901 in Wagoner, OK to Mr. David Smith and Mary Ellen Cochran.
Preceded in death by her parents; her twin brother, Edgar Smith and husband, The Honorable Judge Henry B. Dielmann, founding Dean of St. Mary's Law School.
Survived by son, John W. Dielmann and wife Monette "Polly"; daughter, Betty Dielmann Breen; 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dielmann was active in the San Antonio Chamber Music Society, Board Member Witte Museum, San Antonio Botanical Society, The Historical and many other philanthropic organizations. The family wishes to thank the staff at The Forum Health Care Center, Rebecca and Linda of the Mesa Group, the staff of VistaCare Hospice and especially, Wanda Delevante, caretaker. If friends so desire, memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Downtown Catholic Church or Our Lady of the Lake Sacred Heart Chapel Preservation Fund. Private Interment will be held at St. Joseph's Society Cemetery. Arrangements are with Zizik-Kearns Riebe-Saunders Funeral Home.
