MYRTLE BASTIAN
Myrtle Bastian, age 95, of 768 Deerview Rd., Brillion, died on Friday, APril 27, 2012 at Homestead Care Center in New Holstein.
She was born Feb. 9, 1917, daughter of the late Walter and Elsie(Greve) Bastian. She married Lawrence Bastian on Dec. 7, 1938. Myrtle was a dedicated wife and mother. She loved caring for her grandchildren, loved flowers and gardening, baking, and crocheting. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Forest Junction and the United Methodist Women.
Survivors include her children, Jerry Bastian of Hilbert, Tom (Anita) Bastian of Oregon, Kathy(Jim)Lane of Brillion, and Mark(Lonie) Bastian of Brillion; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, three sisters and two brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence on May 26, 1993; a son, Dennis; and one brother.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. Burial was at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
