Caryl J. Schulz of Huntley Funeral services for Caryl J. Schulz (nee Bantz), 69, formerly of Des Plaines, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 100 W. Michigan Ave., Palatine. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Highway), Mount Prospect, and from 9 a.m until the time of services Friday, at the church. Born Aug. 25, 1935, in Chicago, she died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004. Interment in Oakridge Cemetery. Caryl had been very active in several church choirs, had been a registered nurse and retired from Fahey Center in Des Plaines. Survivors include her husband, William D. Schulz; children, Lynette (Jim) Galloway and Bonnie (Jon) Plimpton; and grandchildren, Mary, Tom, Alex and Sarah.
