His family immigrated 21 Apr 1893 on the ship "Rhynland" (there are wonderful pictures of this ship on her maiden voyage, to her final scrapping country in Italy in 1906).
They left from Antwerp, Belgium to New York City. Then they took another boat to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Sometime later the family ended up in Mishawaka, Indiana!

Theresa Unknown Maiden Name, 1850 – 1921
Theresia J. Aman, 1886 – 1920
Veronika "Verona" Aman, 1888 – 1958
