Cathleen Lassiter Grissom , 83, of the 200 block of Robert Court, a retired business clerk with W & J Parker Wholesale, died Dec. 12, 1991, in a hospital.
Mrs. Grissom was born in Harrellsville, N.C. She was a member of South Norfolk Baptist Church, Women's Club of South Norfolk and Order of Eastern Star 57. She was the widow of Ruben E. Grissom .
Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca G. Van Ausdall of Richmond; a son, Judge E. Preston Grissom , and a sister, Helen L. Cahoon, both of Chesapeake; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in South Norfolk Baptist Church by the Rev. D. Mac Brunson, the Rev. Frank Hughes Jr. and the Rev. Danny Morris. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, and other times at the residence.
