Edgar Clarence Acker, 71, a former resident of Newport RD, died Sunday, Feb. 9, at a Richboro rest home. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Philip Krause, Southampton; two brothers, Millard R., Harrisburg, and George M., Lancaster and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p. m. today, Feb. 13, at the funeral home on Walnut street. The Rev. J. Keller Brantley, pastor of the Newport United Church of Christ, will officiate, and burial will be in Newport Cemetery.
