PIEDMONT - Lawrence Watson Culbertson, 77, retired farmer, died at his home, Rt. 1, Piedmont, early Wednesday morning from burns suffered early that morning. He was a member of White Plains Baptist Church, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew C. Culbertson. His wife was the late Mrs. Alice Smith Culbertson, who died in 1944. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lila Lusk of Port Wentworth, GA; one brother, Barney Culbertson of Simpsonville; one sister, Mrs. H. T. Campbell of Greenville; three half-sisters, Miss Ollie Culbertson of Ware Shoals, Mrs. Nellie Craig of Laurens and Mrs. Inez Rogers of Charlotte; four half-brothers, Ernest, A. C. and Clinton Culbertson, all of Ware Shoals, and Paul Culbertson of Greenville; one granddaughter, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Gray Mortuary.
