Earl Van Norman was born in Tomahawk, Wisconsin in 1919. He worked in the paper mill in Tomahawk. In the early 1970's he transferred to the Owens Illinois plant in the Bahamas, later he tranferred again to Bedford, VA before returning to Tomahawk to retire. Earl married Mary Irene Lemmens on July 10, 1940. He served in the US Army during World War II in the Pacific theater and after the war was part of the occupation troops in Japan. Earl and Mary had 4 children Mary Lou, Jim, Bert and Joanne. Earl died in Tomahawk on July 25, 1993.
