Harold William Wells, 93, of Fairmont, passed away Tuesday (June 9, 2009) at Fairmont General Hospital.
Harold was born in Fairmont on Oct. 17, 1915, the son of the late Ralph and Virginia (Ross) Wells.
Harold was retired from B&O; Railroad; served in the Air Force Reserves; was Catholic by faith; and formerly attended St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, John Wells, and a daughter, Phyllis Wells, both of Fairmont; a brother, Mike Wells and wife Mary Lou of Fairmont; and a sister, Rita Jurich of Columbus, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Petrucci) Wells on April 13, 1997; and two sisters, Bernadine Wells and Jeanette Wells.
Method of disposition was cremation and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
